Interactive TV credit card SkyCard has announced that it has extended its zero per cent interest deal.
With credit card applications beginning today, SkyCard credit card customers will get a zero per cent interest rate on both purchases and balance transfers until January 7th 2007. Those using the credit card will be charged a fee of 2.5 per cent on balance transfers.
Credit card holders who opt for the low rate credit card would normally be subject to a standard annual percentage rate of 16.9 per cent.
Commenting on the credit card deal, Mark Duckworth, general manager of SkyCard, said: "Predictions of the end of zero per cent deals are premature. This new offer is the longest zero per cent deal on purchases currently available.
"Customers can take care of their Christmas finances with this balance transfer and look forward to a whole year of interest free shopping with the latest deal from SkyCard."
SkyCard allows people who subscribe to Sky television to collect loyalty points by using the credit card. Credit card holders are able to use the credit card by inserting it directly into their Sky box.
Viewers who have a SkyCard credit card can exchange these SkyPoints for pay per view movies, money off their monthly bill and PremPlus football games.
