Morgan Stanley boosts credit card rewards

Thu, 07 Sep 2006

Credit card provider Morgan Stanley has boosted the rewards across its product range.

The company has announced that two new offers will be available on the reward-based credit cards, which it claims will make them more competitive.

On the platinum credit card, Morgan Stanley has tripled the rate of Cashback Bonus award, with a rate of three per cent on purchases between September 5th 2006 and January 1st 2007.

Furthermore, new customers taking out the buy and fly! MasterCards will earn double reward points on all purchases for the first six months, equating to two points for every £10 spent.

The buy and fly! points are valid for three years and will count toward a flight to Europe.

Patrick Muir, marketing director of Morgan Stanley's UK credit card business, said: "Morgan Stanley believes that the only way to build a longstanding relationship with customers in the competitive credit card sector is to tangibly reward their loyalty.

"Morgan Stanley is committed to offering a variety of different rewards to meet the needs of every individual."
