According to a recent report in the credit cards news, the Consumer Credit Counselling Service CCCS have said that owning several credit cards can be confusing for the consumer.
For those consumers hunting credit, the CCCS warn that a liberal attitude towards acquiring a credit card, common in the UK, could be dangerous.
A spokesperson for the CCCS, James Ketchell, reportedly commented: "It's very easy with credit cards because [people are] not seeing the money in real terms, so it becomes detached."
A recent Datamonitor report put Brits ahead in the number of cards, with the average person having twice as many as the average Norwegian.
