The latest credit card offering from Abbey is to be welcomed, according to one expert.
Peter Harrison, cards expert at Moneysupermarket.com, claimed that the new credit card, which offers a zero per cent rate for 15 months on balance transfers, is yet another good product from the firm.
"Following on from the innovative Abbey Zero card, Abbey has bucked the trend again with its latest card offering," the credit card expert said.
While many rival firms are pulling their best credit card deals from the market, Abbey has launched a market leading balance transfer product, he added.
However, people who do opt to take out the credit card should make sure they do not make any purchases until they clear the amount they have transferred to it, he warned.
Recently, Nationwide announced that it is increasing interest rates on its Gold and Classic credit cards in a move which it claimed brought it into line with the rest of the market.
