Customers looking for a credit card they can manage over the internet may be interested in a new product from Barclaycard .
Potential owners of a mybarclaycard account can watch a demonstration of the service on the firm's website, which shows how they will be able to make balance transfers and manage their credit limit online.
Barclaycard said it aims to give credit card holders more control over their finances by allowing access to key services 24 hours a day and the website was designed with customer input taken into account.
Amer Sajed, chief executive of Barclaycard UK, said: "mybarclaycard is set to be the UK's leading online account servicing website. It will make our customers' lives a little easier by providing them with the control to track and manage their spending with Barclaycard."
Money tips website FinancialAdvice.co.uk recently said that despite the negative effects of the recession on the credit card market, the new zero per cent balance transfer product from Virgin Money has stirred competition.
